Please notify us if you are unable to keep your appointment. We do accept same day cancellations. However, we would really appreciate notification of cancellations as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee an appointment with the doctor if you are late. However, we will do our best to find you another appointment time that is mutually convenient.
All pets admitted to the hospital for surgery, dentistry, or drop off appointments must be up to date with their annual check-ups and/or vaccinations. If this service was provided by another hospital, proof of vaccination will be requested at the time of booking. If you do not have the vaccination certificate, we will be happy to call the clinic where the service was provided on your behalf and update your pet’s vaccinations if needed. This policy is important for the safety and well being of both your own pet and others in the hospital.
Should your pet require after hours care, please call the nearest emergency animal hospital. Please do not attempt to contact us via email for emergency care. This could lead to unnecessary delays. We do not respond to emails after business hours. If you require immediate assistance during office hours, please call us at (847) 926-9400.
We accept cash, all credit and debit cards and CareCredit as forms of payment for services and pet supplies. Payment for services rendered is due when our service is rendered or when the pet is discharged from the hospital. A written treatment plan including the anticipated charges will be provided. Please note that while we do our best to provide accurate treatment plans, it is not always possible to predict everything a patient may require while in hospital.
Prescription Medications and Prescription Diets
Our on-site pharmacy has a large selection of prescription medications and therapeutic diets for your family pet. Our staff members can help you select the best medication, choose the proper dosage, and provide information on side effects or interactions. Contact us immediately if your pet experiences an adverse reaction, or if you have any questions or concerns regarding a prescription medication. For your convenience, we also have an online store with home delivery.
